Success in this journey we are on requires a lot of "forsaking," which includes leaving behind old ideas and in some cases, relationships and lifestyles that hold back our progress. But we never have to forsake what is real -- only our illusions of reality. Finding like-minded people in this journey is very rewarding.

The two kinds of people in this world include:
1. The "churched" folks - meaning, those raised in a religious tradition or doctrine of some sort
2. Those folks raised without any religious background or doctrinal teachings.
Pioneer Place Ministries welcomes both kinds of people, because, well, everyone should be able to grow in the understanding of reality, without feeling "shaded" or left out, or looked down on by members of the other group. ONE DOES NOT NEED RELIGIOUS TRAINING OR IN-DEPTH SCHOLARLY KNOWLEDGE OF THE BIBLE TO ACHIEVE PEACE AND UNDERSTANDING. On the other hand, there are a LOT of folks in various church or religious groups whose heart is pure, and they should not be shunned by the unchurched group. And there are some AMAZING and very practical insights in the Bible that we will be presenting in this website.
No matter one's background, we all have common issues and concerns. We all want to live without fear, but this can only happen when one achieves Understanding...not just having knowledge or wisdom, but Understanding.
